About the EXPO REAL Impact Awards 2025

After a successful first edition, Expo Real and the European PropTech Association are proud to present the second edition of the Impact Awards in 2025.

Launched for the first time in 2024, the Impact Awards 2025 continue to recognize and support the most impactful real estate and construction projects as well as innovative real estate technology solutions. These pan-European Awards are supported by leading industry partners and European institutions, reinforcing their mission to become the benchmark competition for impact-driven initiatives.

Competition Tracks

The Impact Awards 2025 consist of two separate tracks:

  • Track 1: Showcasing the most innovative and impactful tech solutions in the industry.
  • Track 2: Recognizing the most impactful real estate and construction projects from 2024-2025.

The competition track for innovative and impactful tech solutions is supported under the umbrella of StartUp Europe Awards by the European Commission, the President of the European Parliament, the President of the Committee of the Regions, the Vice-President of the Economic and Social Committee, and several Members of the European Parliament.

Beyond ESG: Measuring True Impact

ESG is not sustainability, and disclosure is not impact.

While stating ESG metrics is a step forward, measuring and generating real impact requires a completely different approach. The Impact Awards 2025 focus on:

  • Impact: The measured positive effect of projects and solutions on people and the planet.
  • Backed by 70+ C-level executives from real estate, construction, and technology, along with professionals from the European Commission, ensuring a balanced and objective evaluation of the most impactful projects and ventures across Europe.

Aligning with the New European Bauhaus (NEB) Principles

The New European Bauhaus (NEB) remains a key pillar of the EU Green Deal, shaping innovation and sustainability efforts across industries. The Impact Awards 2025 are aligned with the NEB principles:

The Expo Real Impact Awards 2025 officially kick off on Monday, April 7, 2025, marking the beginning of a new chapter in recognizing innovation, sustainability, and measurable impact in real estate and technology.

This year’s opening ceremony will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and top innovators from across Europe to celebrate the most forward-thinking projects in real estate, construction, and PropTech.

June 1st 2025 - July 10th 2025

Judging Phase

The Expo Real Impact Awards 2025 have officially entered the judging phase, running from June 1st to July 10th, 2025. During this period, a panel of industry-leading experts will meticulously evaluate submissions to identify the most innovative, sustainable, and impactful real estate and PropTech solutions.

Top 50 Announcement

On July 11, 2025, we officially unveil the Top 50 finalists for the Expo Real Impact Awards 2025. These outstanding projects represent the most innovative, sustainable, and forward-thinking solutions in real estate and PropTech.

October 7th 2025

Final Pitches & Winner Announcement

On October 7, 2025, from 16:00 to 18:00, the Expo Real Impact Awards 2025 winners will be announced in a live ceremony at Expo Real in Munich.
